Our team looks forward to serving you and your landscape needs. We pride ourselves on being from the Ottawa area and bring educational and professional experience to our customers with all of our full time team having degrees in landscape design, maintenance and agriculture.

Luke Bones, Owner

Luke grew up in Ottawa, KS and attended college at Kansas State University obtaining his B.S. in Horticulture and Landscape Design. While in college, Luke gained his landscape experience by working at Blueville Nursery in Manhattan, KS and becoming a full time foreman after graduation. He moved back home to Ottawa in 2010 to open Bones Landscape Company in his hometown.

Luke is a Certified Chemical Applicator in the State of Kansas and attends multiple workshops and conferences a year to remain up to date on the latest trends and techniques.  He is married to Katie and they have two children, Brady (4 years) and Parker (3 years).

Brett Adkinson, Supervisor

Brett was born and raised in Richmond, Kansas and graduated from Central Heights High School in 2007. He received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy from Kansas State University in 2011. During his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He currently lives with his wife, Lyndsay, daughter Emery and son, Easton, west of Richmond, Kansas.

Ty Lutz, Turf Grass Manager

Ty is Bones Landscape’s newest crew member and is heading up the Chemical Application and Mowing Division. Ty has a B.S. in Horticulture specializing in Turf Operations Management and is a Certified Chemical Applicator in the State of Kansas. Ty has spent over five years in turf grass management and we’re glad to have him be a part of the team. Ty grew up in Ottawa and it’s where he and his wife Paige currently reside.
